On Saturday (13 July) I took friends that visiting from Pretoria to Grand West for some ice skating. After that we went over to KFC. None of us had cash so wanted to pay with a card. The lady behind the counter said she will try the card machine as it was offline a few minutes ago. While using the machine she spoke in her language to her manager. My friend then thought that there was something wrong. He asked her if there is a problem, she replied: "I told you the card machine is not working so I am showing you now that I am not lying so that you can go get cash." She said it in such a rude manner that one of the customers behind us was just as shocked as us. She then through the card over the counter and said "go get cash" and then in her own language more words... Wish I could understand.
Before leaving I asked the manager if she is always this rude to customers and she replied: "she's not rude" and made that "click" sound with her tongue. The customers behind us confronted the lady in her language and the look on her face was priceless.
I will never again even to attempt to go there...
