Go stand in another queue with a sarcastic smile

On Saturday afternoon at around 12:30pm I went to Ster-Kinekor in Tygervalley to purchase tickets for my two boys and myself for the 03:00pm showing of Epic.

I stood in a queue about 4 deep at the service counter and when I got to the counter I asked the lady to buy 3 tickets to Epic for 15:00. She continue to process the transaction until she noticed I took out my credit card to pay and then informed me that she cannot help me and that I need to go to the self-service machine. I noticed that she had a speedpoint machine for processing of card transactions next to her terminal and asked her why can she not help me if she has the speedpoint machine to accept card payments. She replied that the speedpoint machine was only for accepting payment for 3G glasses etc but she will not accept payment for tickets at this counte! I then enquired why there is no sign warning me that I should not be standing in this queue at the counter if I intend to use a credit card for payment. She just gave me an sarcastic smile and told me to go to the self-service machine and that was it. I had to go to the self-service machine and queue there again to but the tickets.

Poor service and bad attitude!
