On Saturday, 15 June after a long shift at work my partner & I decided to treat ourselves. Being loyal customers of KFC we were expecting the usual fast, efficient service, BUT not at this branch! We arrived at -20:35 & went straight to the counter knowing exactly what we wanted. When placing our order (Zinger box meal, famous bowl & mini loaf) we were told that there was no chicken. I told the cashier that i dont mind waiting for chicken to be made & she said nothing. I asked to speak to the manager who approached the counter & with terrible attitude proceeded to say to me "yes? " I asked her why more chicken could not be made & she said "we finishing the old chicken then we want to go home so we are not making new chicken" I then asked her why when they are still open & its not nearly 21:00 yet (closing time) chicken could not be made & she said "thats what your watch says not ours, my staff & I say its 21:00 you have no proof" I then told the manager that i am appalled that they would treat a customer this way & she laughed at me & said "you can go now thanks" My partner asked for their customer care number & the manager told him that she did not have it. I am now so put off by KFC!!!
