We arrived at Nandos last night and the lady at the till told us "We are out of chicken." At first i thought it was joke because that is like a bank saying they do not have money. But she was serious, I could not believe this and asked how is it possible that NANDO's is out of chicken, where have you ever heard of that. Surely it should stock enough for the day and more! If not for the week in advance...
I asked her if maybe they are closing the store as that would be a better reason to not serve customers than "We are out of chicken." She continued with her same statement. When we entered, the doors were wide open as compared to when it is closing all doors are closed and only one door is open. OPEN DOORS= welcome in. If you have no chicken, close the doors! and put a sign! Do not patronize customers but leaving the doors wide open, greeting them, waiting for them to order, 'letting them order' and then telling them there is no chicken, at a chicken franchise!
