This morning (2013/06/16) at approximately 10:35 i called in and ordered breakfast, i was advised to collect my order in 10 minutes time and was asked to pay at that time (which i did). I went back to the restaurant and to my surprise the food wasn't ready, i was then told to wait for another 25 minutes, the manager then advised that the food will be brought to me as i am also in the area. After realising that the 25 minutes had lapsed i went back to check on my order that is when the Manager became rude to me and asked if i could not see that they were busy, i cannot wait for more that 45 minutes for breakfast in a restaurant. The manner in which the manager spoke to me was unacceptable. He is rude and has no Customer service skills. He then ordered one of the waiters to give me back my money as he was no longer interested in serving me. I felt humiliated in front of the staff as he was shouting out "Give her back the money ". Is this how news Cafe treats their customers? if i ever set foot in another News Cafe it would be too soon. :(
