Strange title but that's what my last and final experience at Tasha's felt like. On the 26th we decided to grab a quick breakfast before getting a few post Christmas errands done. We arrived at Tasha's like we've done many times before and sat down hungry and ready to enjoy our meal and tackle our day.
First order - Cafe Mocha and a Chai Latte... Second order (10 minutes after the first) - 2 Breakfast Pitas, a toasted Mozerella and a plate of chips... 20 minutes later and one warning to the waiter and our drinks arrive. I explicitly tell the waiter that if the food we ordered is going to take as long as the drinks, that he should tell me now... No he assures me, it will be here soon. Second order - A strawberry juice for my 2 year old toddler. 15 minutes later the juice arrives and a full 40 minutes after we ordered the food finally makes it to the table. The 2 managers circle past my table for a full hour and don't stop once to check if everything is okay! But when I asked for the bill it arrived in 1 min flat and the waiter showed up twice in 5 minutes to check if we were ready to pay. What an absolute waste of R300.00! Thanks but no thanks Tasha's - overpriced and very average!
