On Friday evening at 18:38 I paid for my order and was told it would take no longer than 18 minutes. Although 18, minutes to wait for an order is longer than I expected, I saw there was quite a number of customers, so I waited. After 40 minutes, I noticed that no one was cooking at the grill and no orders were being handed to customers. When I asked what was going on, I was told that there was no chicken and they were waiting for chicken to come out of the oven. I was told I would need to wait another 20 minutes. When I asked for my money back, they weren't keen. While they were trying out figure out how to give me my money back, they brought out chicken and started grilling again. I was asked to wait 10 minutes and I would get my order.
I cannot believe that a fast food restaurant takes so long to fill its orders, and the staff were surprised that I complained. This was the first time in many years that I have been to a Nandos, and I think I will stick with KFC in the future. At least there the service is fast and friendly.
