Our staff of 26 phoned to book a table for breakfast at News Cafe in Rivonia for 10h00, so they were aware that we were coming. One waiter was assigned to the table. The lady who attended to us had such a bad attitude, it took her 10 minutes to take down an order with as much enthusiasm as a soggy noodle. The food took an hour to arrive - half being served at a time. Some people already finished their breakfast before others had received theirs. Totally, totally unacceptable. Even after a few polite attempts to speed up the service, it did not happen. Very disappointed as it was someone's birthday and it should have been a treat. We won't be going back there in a hurry.
