Newscafe Campus Square must surely be the worst Newscafe in Gauteng. Not only is the service terrible and the waiting times unacceptable, but it turns out that their manager doesn't even know her products! I called in this morning to order the 'Early Bird' breakfast, and the manager enthusiastically took my order and told me to collect the food after 10 minutes. However, when i rocked up to collect my order, a waitress told me that the 'Early Bird' breakfast special does not apply to take outs as it is a 'sit in' special. Surely the MANAGER ought to know her promotions?! Said manager didn't even bother to meet me or apologise! So much for the "Vibe"!
