I called N1 City for an order of pasta. The lady who answered the phone told me "25-30 mins" then said it would probably take 20 mins max as it is a pasta.
I got there 20 later at 5:47pm. When I entered the store, the - I assume - manager was placing orders into a Mr Delivery bag to keep the orders warm. When I got to the till, they could not find my order. After a very irritated manager assisted, they found it on the system. 2 people were already waiting because their orders were incorrect. A gentleman was told to come back because they had sent his order with another delivery by mistake and they had to redo it? I paid for my SINGLE pasta and waited... at 6:30 I said to refund me as I could not wait a minute longer... then the manager comes along and says that the order is done. It was sitting in the Mr Delivery bag! The cashier apologised as no one told her. And the fact that the manager /owner was not assisting at all with the chaos in the front of store left a bad taste in my mouth...
Surely in this day of social networking and review sites stores should realise the positive spin off good customer service could bring? obviously not!
