On friday night I decided to get 2 x platter take-aways from fishaways in my area, and since I am aware that they deliver I called them for the ordering with the hopes that they would deliver as it was 19:00 and they take delivery orders till 19:30, so my order was still within their delivery time. As I called a gentleman answered the phone and as soon as I said I would like to make a order for delivery, he told me how he will not be taking my order as they are no longer taking orders because they are busy. I then made him aware of the fact that they actually take orders till 19:30 and he told me that he can't afford to be short staffed so no one is available for delivery. So my question is why even offer to deliver if your customers instore are worth more than those calling? That is unacceptable and poor customer service in my books.
