I have been retrenched. on the 16th April I went into African Bank with all the relevent documents, filled out all the forms that they required, and was told it will be faxed to the insurance dept that same day. I also insisted that they put a stop on my debit order immediately which they assured me will be done. A few days later I receive a SMS saying I need to fax my letter of Retrenchment and copy of ID (which was already sent to them) anyway I immediately faxed them. On the 24th April i spoke to Jeffery about the status of this matter he said he will check and call me back, i reminded him that the debit order must be stopped he said it will be unfortunatly he neva called with that feedback. I checked my bank account and on the 26th April only to find that African Bank debited my bank account. Trying to contact the insurance dept is a nightmare, i've been trying to contact them since with no joy. African Bank needs to listen to what they clients are telling them to do, REVERSE MY PAYMENT AND STOP MY DEDUCTION IMMEDIATLEY LIKE I ASKED YOU TO MORE THAN ONCE
