AFRICAN BANK NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I am totally and utterly disgusted in African Bank. In 2009 I was retrenched from my place of work. I filled in all the necessary documents and forwarded these to said bank. To this day, 19 April 2013 I still get phone calls and sms's to say I owe them money! I want this to be sorted out immediately. I am tired of being harrassed for something that was out of my hands.

I applied for vehicle finance now and it was declined reason being "I still owe African Bank money! " I need a car desperately as ours is not roadworthy anymore and I have to drive with my children in the car!

This is complete and utter madness... almost 4 years down the line and they are still trying to get money out of me? I am hoping that this matter will be dealt with urgency and hopefully someone will now contact me... I am tired of this now!! I am well aware of the fact that you have insurance in place for when you are retrenched etc.
