I settled my account with african bank 2 months ago. More then a year ago african bank made a mistake by putting through a debit order too soon. I went to our local branch where the girl told me that I dont have to pay the amount cash as it will just be worked into my monthly payments. I asked her if it would give me any problems and she assured me it was fine. I tried to buy a car on monday and my application was declined.i phoned transunion and they said African bank listed me for a poor payment record! This is unacceptable! I spoke to different departments today at the call centre. I was promised a letter as proof of the correction and im waiting. This was not my mistake and now I am losing my sale and nobody could help me at african bank to sort this out! Im tired ofall the mistakes that African bank makes and I will take this further if this does not get sorted out immediately.
