Hi there,

I am rather frustrated at this point. I have decided to move my banking from Nedbank to FNB. I did a telephone application on Monday morning for both a Platinum Cheque and Credit Card. All documents were submitted and signed by Tuesday noon. On Tuesday, 23 April, I received an SMS saying my Cheque Card has been ordered and CCD will be in contact with me - two days later still no call or updates on delivery.

I phone to enquire about my Credit Card and was told that my details were only captured Wednesday, 24 April, and it will take another 3 -5 days for delivery.

Here is the problem: I explained when I applied as well as everytime I spoke to a consultant that I need all my account details for both cards before Friday as I need to close my account and update my banking details for my salary. At this point I am wondering if I should not just cancel my FNB application since its just easier for me to stay with Nedbank who has never faltered on delivery. Also, your website claims Card delivery in 3 days.

I need both cards by Friday morning latest in order to close my existing accounts and update my details. Please assist! Not a great experience so far.
