Absa phoned me and asked me to fica my personal and address details once again. This is such a slep as I do not have any post coming to my home address and I need to have my husband to make an avi-david stating that I live with him. What they did not tell me is if I do not fica today my account will be locked and I will not be able to transact either at an ATM or on the internet. I was the one left with egg on my face as I could not pay for groceries or even withdraw money to put petrol in my car. I work fulltime and it is very difficult for me to go to the bank during their ridiculous working hours. How will crime be stopped or even controlled by having to fica? This is so ridiculous and unnecessary - the criminals still do as they please and law abiding citizens need to be controlled? REALLY!!!
