I am highly disgusted and disappointed in the way the Standard Bank Department conducts itself with regards to urgencies relating to. I resorted to stopping my credit card about two weeks ago due to a transaction. Prior to receiving my new card, I was told it would take - 5 working days. These days quickly went by and I had STILL NOT BEEN CONTACTED TO FETCH MY NEW CARD and the only reason i knew it was ready was because credit transactions/deposits had been confirmed on my new account and sent through to my cell and i as a customer had to call Standard Bank to find out where my card was and I was told oh no - they were busy. Bust with what? Satisfying other customers other than myself? Further on calling customer service and being sent from pillar to post - I was put through to the investigators dept. I was left a voice mail on the 10 April asking to contact and i HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH SINCE. To this day, i still do not know what is happening with the investigation into the activity on my account!! WILL I BE CONTACTED? I am absolutely disgusted for a lack of better words that it is up to me as a consumer to run after Standard Bank
