Very dissapointed

I'm a third year MBA student. I'm a teacher at a high school and this is my 5th year at the school. The firsts three years I was appointed by the school on a governing body post. The last two years I was appointed by the department. I'm a loyal client at ABSA with good credibility. I applied for a student loan the last two years which was approved by ABSA every time. This year I applied again for my third and final year and for more than half of the amount. ABSA told me that according to their terms and conditions my application for this year was declined because I'm appointed by the department on a yearly basis. Although my contract is renewed every year I employed by the same employer for last 5 years. The funny thing is that when I called another bank that I don't even have account at they were prepared to provide me with the loan I need for my last year as an MBA student. I'm considering moving my whole account to another bank.
