Student Loan application

I have been an ABSA client for more than 14 years with Absa now, and I currently have a gold cheque account with Absa, and AVAF account, and various other accounts with Absa, and I'm currently full time employed with a reputable firm. I applied for a student loan on Friday the 8th of March (which cost me a telephonic conversation of about 20 min), where after I received an sms which indicated to me that my student loan was pre-approved, pending all the documentation which needed to be sent. It took me 2 hours to gather all the information which I sent through on 10 o'clock on Friday. Only after I phoned Absa again yesterday, they indicated that they are busy with my application. I was phoned an hour later by Prudence, who indicated to me that I am now suddenly not eligible for a student loan.

It was indicated to me that no salary was deposited into my account Jan and Feb (I was in Namibia and cashed my slary cheques, due to banking fees). Prudence indicated to me that I was no longer eligible for a student loan!!!

This would cause me to consider going to another bank, as I am receiving no support from Absa to become a Chartered Accountant, and finish my CTA!!!
