We applied for student loan and it was approved on 4 December 2014. Our son started University on 6 January 2014 since he is second year medicine at Stellenbosch. We have tried without success to arrange for signature of the documents calling the call centre and was eventually told to attend on our branch this morning. Yet agai unsuccessful! The "forms" for signature was not received from student loans.
We will now approach another bank and move our current, bond, revolving credit and all 3 our children's accounts to FNB.
We have been loyal for 25 years! Our son passed his 2nd year with distinction but clearly we are not good enough for Standard Bank
