In 2007 I purchased a property making use of a bond from Nedbank. This is I did by also registering my daughter's name on the bond apart from from wife's name as well due to to affordabilty. It is now time to remove my daughter's name and register only on mine and my wife's name. On Application to Nedbank to do this, I received a DECLINE from the GM of Home Loans - E Drotskie. Other banks are willing to do a bond switch together with a loan amount to conduct repairs / renovation to the property for which Nedbank Insurance will not pay!! And the other BANKS also willing to register the bond on just my and my wife's name ONLY! for which i have their approved responses / quotes. why is it a problem for Nedbank. Am i a Risk? Have i not Faithfully paid every bond installment since the purchase date? Am i of the incorrect RACE (for statistical purposes). After all they send the same OLD WHITE TOPPIE to conduct an assessment on my property who was as grumpy in 2007 and just as grumpy in 2012.
I would like to continue a relationship with Nedbank, however other Banks are prepared to treat me with much more dignity than i am currently receiving.
