For more than 25 years i have been banking with Nedbank. My dad has been with Nedbank since i can remember... Loyal Nedbank Advocates.
Then i decided to purchase property and did not even think twice to use only Nedbank to approve a bond for me. No problem. I knew in my heart, the application will glide thru. My bond originator recommended i approach other banks as well and i reluctantly agreed.
The first bank to reply with a 100% bond was Standard Bank. The second was ABSA... I waited in anticipation for MY bank with a offer. Then came the news, 2 weeks after Standard Bank made a offer.
Sorry Sir, you don't qualify!!! Your loyalty all these years meant NOTHING to us.
Why did Standard and ABSA bank approved me and not Nedbank? Fact is I don't want to know
