My account is on a negative balance of 1, 300 because of these stupid honoring fees. I called the customer service line and they told me I made purchases while I didn't have money in my account.
I made more than 5 purchases in a space of 2 days, so why in those 2 days there are only 3 honoring fees? Because this lady tells me that my account was already on a -.
Secondly I was told that I will pay R99 per month including all basic needs like balance enquirers and withdrawals. So why do I have charges for posting a statement to me... that I did not even ask for. I can check my statement online, I don't need extra costs for that. Then R24.00 withdrawal fees...*seriously*
I demand that these honoring fees be reversed because no one told me about them, and the bank can always decline my purchases if I do not have enough money in my account.
Then the R57.00 overdraft charges, I did not try to withdraw money from my account while knowing that I do not have enough money... what are these charges for? and the R17.00 interest on overdraft what is this for? I don't have any overdraft facility.
I`m shocked at how you make your customer`s lives more miserable financially.
