Bad service and poor knowledge base

ABSA Business Boksburg:
1) Start a new Business account as advertised on ABSA's web site.
2) Investigate the possibility in buying an existing business with ongoing concern separate to our company.

1. Most questions regarding the purchasing of a business had to be referred to someone else.
2. The system was of line and the "system" declined the new current account even with no overdraft facility required and me having a platinum account with ABSA and using my credit card as a savings account and having paid my current utility bill two months in advance.
3. The nature of business was not even discussed.
4. Cannot print a simple document and no examples could be provided as to what type of proof of residence for my wife was adequate.
5. Documents were supposed to have been email to us and we are still waiting.
6. "Business Advantage", "Business Essentials" accounting software as advertised on the ABSA web site was not even discussed or promoted.
7. My original utility bill is lost.
The product knowledge base was appalling. Differentiation can be reached between "system acceptances" and "human relationships".
