Virgin Insurance
Claim taking three weeks and still not resolved

My husband had a breakdown driving back home in my car, there was a leakage (breakfluid) or something. called the insurance to tow the car and it was towed to Brit Autobody. my husband wasnt sure if he hit something and thought it was just a machanical failure and we requested that BMW go collect the car at brits so they can look at it. BMWcame back and confirmed that the leakage was as a result of an accidend and the car will be sent to their repair shop in PTA. called virgin to notify them of this and that they must reopen the claim. was advised that the insurance would tow the car and take it for an assessment, then that changed when speaking to someone else, the assessor witll assess it at the BMW centre. this took them a week to confirm that an assessor will assess on Monday the 8th April and that the assessment report should take at least 3 days. called Sean again on Firday to follow up and they still dont have the assessment report and that he is waiting for me to confirm my previous insurance and that info i provided almost 2 weeks prior and he said that he did not have the details. called again today and there is still no report from the assessors.have been calling everyda
