My husband and I reported our leaking roof over three months ago. Since reporting the leak Absa Insurance sent out five different assessors to give them a report. After each assessment I called their call centre and was told that they never received a report and will be sending out another assessor! One of their assessors even suggested that we use second hand parts, and they can do the job for us privately! Still, we received no feedback from Absa! Since the last assessor came out, I have been told by the call centre to deal with Annelize de Beer as she is handling my claim. Well, Annelize has only ever returned ONE of my calls and whenever I call her she is not available! When she did call me back, she too told me she did not have the report. Meanwhile, every time it rains our furniture continues to get damaged and our roof gets worse! I am disgusted with this service from Absa Insurance. I have even begged the call centre to get a manager to call me and still nothing has happened? What more can I do? Who is accountable for this shocking service? Nobody is prepared to give me a solid answer or help me with this claim?? It is almost four months later and nothing has been resolved!
