On the 9thMarch I smashed my car into the concrete base of a pillar damaging the bumper. On impact the cluster (the dials and hazard warnings in front of the driver) and the onboard computer stopped functioning. I put in a claim with Outsurance with an individual called Denzil Coetzer. Took the car to the panelbeaters, who did a good job. a few days later I got a call from the panelbeater NOT OUTSURANCE to inform me that Outsurance would not be covering claim for the cluster and onboard computer as they were were not incident related. I phoned Denzi Coetzer who confirmed this. I asked him who would be crazy enough to drive a car around not knowing how much fuel was left, speed if the car is overheating and all hazard warnings off. I insisted that they were incident related and would not collect car till this was settled. They hadn't even send out an assessor. I dealt with his supervisor, a certain Zandi..The car remained at the panel beaters for 29 days. I also contacted Cardo Martin the manager of who said he would get back to me. He never did. NOT ONCE did Outsurance phone me. A kind young man called Daniel from panel beaters to took the initiative to fix cluster.
