Once again returned to African Bank to try and get a new card. I was helped by Jan Molefe. I did have proof of address, my marriage certificate, and my ID book. As the Post Office was on strike i did not have recent proof of address. Jan Molefe was so rude and obviously rascist, i am disgused at the way he spoke to me. I asked him to phone head office, and then he got even more rude when i insisted he speak in English so that i could also understand what he was saying. He said to the person on the phone that who am I to demand to speak to the CEO (which i did not) and who do i think i am that the CEO will answer his phone over weekends. Prior to this i asked him to speak to the Branch Manager (Marlene) but she was on leave, and he replied "she is definitely not coming in here for you especially". He embarrased me in front of everyone there. A while later i returned to get my new card, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS NEVER STOPPED!!! I did phone thier call centre the day my husband lost his wallet to stop the card. This is the worst bank in history. They are not focused on custome satisfaction or quality service at all. I am highly disgusted.
