I called the call centre and asked for a limit increase and was advised that my credit card is in arrears by 1 month. I asked for which month and was advised that i did not pay my credet card in december, my credit card is paid by debit order and since i got it in 2007, i never missed any payments, and now this has affected my ITC, i am in the process of buying a property and negligence/ignorance from African Bank is affecting this. i was advised yesterday that my itc profile showed that my african bank credit is not being paid as per our contract.

I challenge african bank to prove the following to me, when exactly i missed this payment. what frustrates me most is the fact that i was double debited on the 20th May, and i dont recall consenting to this as all my debit orders went through succesfully.

Please also note that i will not be sending anyone a copy of my bank statement and you will fix this mess that you created on my ITC. I want proof that this is corrected as soon as possible.

Now i understand why African Bank has lost so much of its market share to its competitors.
