We moved into a flat in Burgundy Estate in January, which had no telkom line installed. So we installed it about 3 months ago. NOW i am getting phone calls from the call centre at African Bank - they want to speak to someone who does not live there!! I have been nice, I have been rude, I taken my time and gone into your branch in N1 city and still they keep on phoning. How hard is it to make a note and say that, that person connected to this number is false???
Last week someone phoned I asked to speak to a manager: no he/she is not here, I say there must be someone there: she responds by saying no they are in a meeting, I say I hold - she puts the phone down. Last night phoned again - First I ask - are you phoning from African Bank - she answers no. I ask where are you phoning from, she answers: African Bank - Are you kidding me!! Apparently the person they are looking for just wrote our number down?? Are you kidding me??? The more i say no, and explain she puts the phone down in my ear!!
I am urging who ever is in charge to put a stop to it very soon!!
