On 12 March 2013 at 10h40 I cancelled my SANTAM policy with effect from 31 March 2013. Despite timeous cancellation, SANTAM deducted a premium from my bank account on 2 April 2013. Despite numerous request by myself and my broker to SANTAM, reversal of the premium is not forthcoming. SANTAM regional staff members pass the buck from one person to another and still no reversal is made. In addition, I am incurring expenses on the outstanding amounts owed to me in the form of interest, penalties and banking charges.
