LACK OF CLARITY ON MONTHLY PREMIUM (CAR)

For the past 18 months my car (Ford Focus 2010 5R Ambiente used) was insured by santam, until last month (October) I decided to sell my car meaning that was the end of the agreement between myself and Santam. I bought a brand new car (Ford Focus 2013 5R Trend) then call Santam for a quote the Premium was R2300 p/m and my licence is 2 years, previously i was paying below R1000 and by then my licence was less than 6 months. When I ask why the premium is so high they say its focus 2013 and the system determines the premium and there is nothing that they can do. So I asked the agent to speak to the manager in order for him/her to explain why the premium is so high because it doesnt make sense to me. and they said he/she will call me its been 2 weeks now still waiting for the call.
