I bought a vehicle to be financed through Investec. I have encountered so many problems with getting this finance approval. Investec wanted the invoice drafted in a particular manner which then became my problem and which I had to then relay to the dealership. Being at a private bank i would expect that this would be handled by my private banker, however, i had to leave my work so that i could go to the dealership to work out these issues. Two weeks after the eventual purchase of my vehicle, i receive notice that the trade-in value of my old vehicle had been deducted off my current account without my consent. This, however, was the issue with the original invoice on approving financing on the vehicle. Surly as a private bank this should be sorted out and should not be made my problem, which it now has, in a substantial manner!!! Utterly disappointed with my Investec experience.
