I have a buyer that would like to purchase a car that we are selling. She is financing through INVESTEC.We have provided them with all the necessary documents that a normal sales transaction would require for a sale of a motor vehicle before xmas.
Everytime we think INVESTEC is ready to make payment-they request for something else.
The latest request was that we have to get a police clearance on the vehicle even though the car was not and was never in any accidents either. We had the car from Brand New and INVESTEC is aware of that. Melissa said that I must not worry about the police report as they will be getting some info from the Motor Dealership themselves after i lodged at licensing department which is linked to SAP
This Morning (10/01/2013) Melissa gives me a call to say that they were trying to transfer the vehicle & now it's logged at the licensing departmant that a police clearance has been logged (which she requested).
I called the licensing department to ask if we can cancel the police clearance and they said that we cannot.
INVESTEC made us incur cost and they are not willing to pay for it.
Further to this-the sale is not complete due to INVESTEC's incompetency
