I requested a credit report and was told to send the requisite documentation to two specific emails addresses and to expect a response in 3-5 working days. I sent email on 04.04.2013, on april 11th I received nothing. I phoned to make a follow up and was told to give it until end of day. On the 12th of April, today, I called again was told i cant be assisted because I do not have a south african ID was referred to head office who referred me back to the call centre upon which i was told i was given wrong email addresses to make request and should wait another 3-5 working days.
I have lived and worked in SA for almost 6 years surely the ID is not the only means by which to respond to client queries.the back and forth between head office and call centre on the premise that I can not be assisted without an ID number is not fair.
Correct information to be given by call centres please.
If I have been supplied with wrong contact details surely they should make a provision to reduce the turn around time from the standard 3-5 working days.
Regards,
Not amused or impressed.
