Why no overdraft

I have lived and worked in SA for 5 years now and have permanent residency and yet you will not grant me a R3000 overdraft, even when my salary is paid directly into my account. I was with Nedbank for 4 years and they gave me a R6000 overdraft? I thought by shifting my account as advertised by FNB that you were, here to help your customers? Well this is not helping your customers one bit!
