My husband & I are clients of Santam for over 25 years - if not 30 years. A leaking/burst water pipe in the shower was repaired by their contractors. The hole must now be repaired and tiles replaced in order for us to be able to use the shower. Santam's builder can not match the wall tiles of the other inside walls of the shower. Santam refuses to pay for the replacement of all tiles inside the shower. What happened to their promise to "put me back in a posision where I was before"??? Surely having non-matching tiles does not put me back in the same position. I can't believe this is the service we get after more than 25 years and all the premiums paid to them. Unfriendly staff at Santam and their unwillingness to deliver on their promises leaves me without a shower that can be used. I am NOT a happy customer. Let's see what the ombudsman have to say.
