My house was burgled on 21 April this year. It too forever for an assessor to come out and we are now eight weeks since the burglary and my front door still is not repaired, my security gate is still not repaired and my tiles are still not repaired. The contractors that were to quote were escapees from some deserted island and have not bothered to contact me. The Standard Bank consultants were going to call me back within fifteen minutes and I am still waiting two months later. And to think my premium is double that quoted by Santam.
As an aside, Santam sorted out my material losses within days. But Standard Bank is pathetic!!!
