My car was involved in an accident last year. Santam said they will pay for the repairs but each time I need the final "authorisation" Santam has "lost my file"! After waiting 4 months and seeing 2 assessors, now again my file has been "lost"!!!
I have been driving a broken car for 4 months and still there is no hope.
I already complained to Santam, but that did not help.
All I can do now is to write to the ombudsman. It is sad to see what has become of Santam. I have been with them for about 30 years, but this is the end of our relationship.
