I recently noticed that my bank account has been defrauded and I contacted my bank about the matter. They have logged an investigations reference number #476063. The activity happened five times, and they have only reimbursed me for the one event. When queried this, the person at the call centre reasoned that they will not reimburse me the rest of the money since I had a personal loan with the bank and they have decided that they will use the rest to pay that loan. I have been paying the loan under the agreed terms of the loan with the bank and may payments have been up to date. As far as I am concerned that decision on how I use the reimbursed money is not supposed to be taken for me and since I have been making my monthly payments as agreed. I would like to have the rest of the money reimbursed into my account then I will decide if I want to use it to pay that loan account I have with the bank.
