I went to Capitec for a loan. As any bank, they asked me when I would prefer the debit order to go off and I gave them the 26th of every month as i get paid on the 25th.
3 months into the loan payback period, I noticed that my bank statements had unsuccessful collections by Capitec. I went into one of their branches to ask why they kept taking money out of my account the day before i get paid, they simply said my company mentioned that is our pay day. I however only get the money in my account the following day, which they saw and agreed with but just plain said there is nothing they can do for me. Had someone mentioned when i got the account that i would be forced to a date, i wouldn't have signed with them. Now i have a bad credit record because they refuse to live in the 21st century like the rest of us. It's really idiotic and back ward and plain unprofessional. Now i need to go to a normal bank to get out of this loan with them.
