I would like to inform all potential new clients about the service received when I report an incident that happened and caused our family great discomfort. On the day of 27 March 2013, I send my son to withdraw money @ an atm to pay for car parts. He tried using a Standard Bank Atm @ a Sasol garage. The ATM "swallowed" the card and did not even gave him the option to enter the pin number. He phoned his dad who left within minutes to drive and tried to see if there is any person as we are fully aware of card happening @ Atm`s country wide. Within 3 minutes an amount of R2000.00 was withdrawn from our account. I reported the incident strait away and asks for my card to be cancelled. We went to the Alberton branch the same day and I obtain a new card and the clerk did report the incident to their department. (Ref 7605760) and was informed that the incident would be investigated. I received a call from Rene de Kok on the 8th of April 9, 2013 and was advised that it is impossible to duplicate the card. So as a new client of capitec i must take the lost!!
