Misinformed about credit card benefits

Out of the blue, while happy with my Standard Bank credit card, FNB calls me and tells me how great their credit card is and that apart from a lower interest rate fee, I would get access to the Slow Lounge for free. To my surprise, I see I have been charged R500 for entering the Slow Lounge and taking in a guest and after enquiring with FNB, I am told about minimum spending on the credit card and deposits which allow me to access the lounge for free otherwise I pay for it. If I had know about these conditions I would not have changed from Standard Bank; I am very upset as I was misinformed!!!
