My car was taken to the panel beater 12th of august and the insurer gave me a rental for 30 days.
the insurer took 2 weeks to approve the claim, the rental had to be returned on the 11th and i advised my broker/insurer a week earlier that i did not believe the repair would be complete.
the broker advised it repair would be complete on the 11th of september i subsequently return the rental car on the 11th and received my car back on the 11th of September, however the repair work was not satisfactory.
on the 12th i informed the broker and panel beater that the car was not 100% complete and the panel beater gave me a toyota tazz while the repair work was being completed.
the toyota does not have a radio, airbags, electric windows or abs breaks.
the insurer arranged for a rental for the weekend (13-16 sept) till today I have not received my vehicle from the panel beater and my broker/insurer will not arrange for a rental.
the car the panel beater gave me today had trouble and i got stuck.
no once did my insurer/broker advise me the status of my car i had to keep calling the panel beater myself.
i am very disappoint and frustrated by the level of service i have received.
