I recently phoned to claim for the hail damage on my car. They sent it in without any problem to get fixed. The panel-beater that they sent my car too badly.
They sent out an assessor to look at the car. They phoned me this morning stating that they approved it to be rectified by another panel-beater, which I'm happy about, but then they added that if the damage is going to be more than the value of my car, they will write it off.
This is wrong as the panel-beaters that they chose and because of that I might get my car written off. I didn't ask for that panel-beater. They should fix it and not even think about writing it off as it is their fault.
