I used my Discovery miles to buy a product from TAKEALOT on 27th February 2013. When trying to pay for the transaction with my miles, the system crashed. The miles were deducted from my account, but not credited to TAKEALOT. The people at TAKEALOT tried in vain to get the payment from Discovery. Eventually I paid cash for the item which I received the following day. Since then I have been unable to get Discovery to give my miles back. I spoke to the call centre and got a reference number on 6 March 2013. (2759351138). A resolution was promised within 3 to 5 working days. On 5 April I queried why it had not yet been resolved. Another mail with a new ref # 2799664310. Another 3 day promise.
Can someone at Discovery please sort this out. Because your call centre seems to be pretty useless.
