Miles taken off account for nothting

I used 8000 mile for a hotel booking.
I cancelled the booking and after 2 weeks discovery finally refunded the miles t me.
Now they have taken the miles for nothing.

AND

I submitted a claim for a doctor visit via email - that got 'lost' a week later I resubmitted it while on the phone with a helpdesk person. complete with reference numbers she confirmed it was definitely logged.
Now once again there is no claim and no monies paid...

All this after the last fiasco that saw Discovery take 6 weeks to refund R4000 which took 50 phone calls.

The helpdesk cant do anything - what is the point of having people answer customer calls who can do nothing to help the customer?
