Discovery Credit Card:
I have been a Discovery Silver credit card holder for just over a year now. I was delighted to receive my card last year January, after which i called a service agent to activate my miles benefit. At that stage they informed me i could go for a fast miles option which would earn me a mile for every R6.00, i accept this and thought id try it out for a year, it was a pretty high cost, the agent did not say this cost would recur after a year. In my disappointment this was not a good idea for me as i did not accumulate many miles for the cost they charged, so i thought this January 2013 i would not renew it and only go for the normal miles option which is a tenth of the cost. In my surprise i was shocked to see that i got debited R2450.00 for the fast miles option once again without informing me... Thereafter last week i called the Discovery agents to reverse this charge and change to normal miles as its too high for me to incur, they inform me at its almost impossible to reverse the charges. I am furious that i have to pay for this fast miles option that I DO NOT WANT! I also do not want to lose out on my miles that i have already accumulated.
