To whom it may concern
On the 27/07/13 visited the standbank ATM around 10h00 @ the Engen garage, phoenix. At 1st there were no signs of the machine being offlyn. I put it my card, request for a R1000 and thereafter the machine jams.
The owner of the garage then advised me that machine went offlyn so he had to reset the machine. I waited and thereafter tried agen. There was no paper in the machine so I did receive the cash the second time I tried. When I checked my cell phone, I notice that money had been taken out twice. I immediatley contacted the call centre and had to hold on the line for more than 15 mins. I explained my situation to the consulatant and the was advised that I had to wait 15 working days for a refund. What kind of service do u provide? I find this totally unacceptable. I am a loyal customer for more than 10years. How can one survive if he has to wait 15 working days for a mess up on your side. Yes its a network error but you guys can keep track of this and he do know how much money the ATM holds so there should be no excuse for this to take three weeks. Will standard bank pay the penalties for the accounts that I don't pay? I await your response!!!
