Poor customer service

After a week away we arrived home on Sunday to find our fridge and telephone weren't working and had possibly been struck by lightning (after hearing from our neighbours that there had been two strong electric storms during the course of the week). I phoned my broker who advised me to phone Discovery 1st thing on Tues morning, with Mon being a public holiday. On Tues I phoned and was told we'd have someone come and inspect the fridge within the next 24 hours. Nothing happened. The following day I phoned again, explaining how difficult it was living without a fridge and asking when I could expect someone to come and see it. I was told someone would be in touch shortly. Nothing happened. On Thursday morning I phoned again (note that each time it was ME phoning them, not once did they phone me with a progress update) and asked them to follow up. The consultant did a conference call with their electrical consultant who said he had someone right in our area that afternoon and could I make sure someone would be at home. I arranged to be home myself. No-one arrived, nor did anyone contact me. On Fri I phoned, was told someone would come and inspect our TV (!!!) shortly. I'm still waiting.
